This is a free-to-attend launch event and workshop day for the release of Disability Practice: Safeguarding Quality Service Delivery, a new book edited by Chris Bigby, Director of the Living with Disability Research Centre at La Trobe University, and Alan Hough, Director at Purpose At Work. It is available now via Springer.This book is a key resource for researchers, students and practitioners in the field of disability practice, with a primary focus on adults with intellectual disability.
It has been written by leading disability practice researchers, in accessible, colloquial and approachable language.
The book is open access, which means you have free and unlimited access. Hard copies are coming in early 2024.
The contributing authors, Sian Anderson, Tal Araten-Bergman, Christine Bigby, Kathleen Ellem, Laura Hogan, Alan Hough, Lincoln Humphreys, Teresa Iacono, Aaron J. J., Dr Jade McEwen, Vivienne Riches, Jane Tracy and Jemma Venables, will all be speaking.
