About
Anyone who has heard how glorious brass - deep brass in particular - sounds in our space will be as delighted as we are to hear this recital by trombonist Kit Millais and pianist Louis Nicoll. The pair have been playing music together since high school, and join forces for a program of contemporary classical music which both captivates and presents challenges for audience and performers alike.
Featuring Berio's Sequenza V, which was composed in tribute to the clown tradition, the program also features a work written especially for them by Sydney-based composer Julia Potter, and a piece that explores the boundaries between music, theatre, and comedy.
