The Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act (WA) 2023 is due to commence on 1 July 2024. Join LGIS, WorkCover WA and legal experts as we explore how local governments are impacted by wide-ranging changes to workers’ compensation in WA.
LGIS receives over 700 workers’ compensation claims every year for our local government members. On average claims are becoming more complex and expensive, so it’s vital that local governments know their obligations and responsibilities.
Representatives from WorkCover WA and our legal partners will present across a series of events.
