Sunday Sessions Jazz: 'The Bowlo XI' - Unity Jazz Band (SOLD OUT)
2024 brings change to Sunday Sessions Jazz at the Bowlo, with our first gig featuring the Unity Jazz Band starring Dan Barnett and George Washingmachine leading the line-up. Famous for the world's longest running residency (at the Unity Hall Hotel in Balmain), the band has featured a roll call of Sydney's best jazz musicians for more than 50 years. With jazz players both old and young it has a wonderful combination of history mixed with young energy and talent. Our Sunday Sessions line-up is:
Dan Barnett – Trombone & Vocals
George Washingmachine – Violin & Vocals
Stan Valacos – Double Bass
Harry Sutherland – Piano
Graham Hilgendorf – Drums
The $30 ticket price plus booking fee ($20 for student/child) is for event entry only, with reserved table seating. Food and drink is available to order at the venue. If you have any special song requests or seating preferences, please let us know when you book! Doors open from 1:00pm with the band playing from 2-5pm.
