About

Dr. Greg Moore, Chair of Significant Tree Register and Research Fellow of Melbourne University will present on ‘The Value of Your Significant Trees’: “Significant, old trees are valuable assets. They do things that other organisms cannot, but we continue to undervalue them to the point where many are removed unnecessarily. As climate changes the value of these large, old trees will increase. The sequester carbon, they shade and cool and provide habitat for a diverse range of other species."
