Lino Printing Workshop with Ian Tully
Ian Tully is a practicing artist who is coming to Deniliquin to share his expertise in printmaking.
Inspired by the artwork of Margaret Preston, in this one-day workshop you will learn how to design and cut a single colour lino cut and then print by hand. You will also receive your own set of lino cutting tools, so you'll be ready to start your own projects.
The day will include:
- Introduction and discussion on the joys of printmaking
- Learn how to prepare the lino for the design
- Using a traditional still life arrangement of flowers to draw from, you will discover how to draw directly on to the lino, and cut the lino in preparation for printing.
