Junkyard Wizards is the all-original progressive psych-rock powerhouse born out of the Macedon Ranges music scene. Blending influences from 70s psych and the current Australian underground scene, the musical palette they have to offer is both varied and unique. Formed back in 2019 with just two recording members, the group released their debut single ‘The Cosmic Cake.’ After a few member changes over the years and a brief hiatus throughout most of 2023, the band re-entered the scene with full force and enthusiasm, playing several local shows before taking their new live act to the Melbourne scene, ripping up the Tote Hotel in Fitzroy earlier this year.With a severe lack of recent releases, the band is in the process of recording their debut album titled ‘The Sky As We Know It', lots of which will be showcased in this upcoming gig.
