'Prog-baroque quartet' Croissants & Whiskey present a moving program brimming with contemporary Australian talent. Comprising four of Melbourne’s most sought-after virtuosos with Joy Lee (harpsichord), Ryan Williams (recorders), Miranda Hill (G violone), & Katie Yap (viola), Croissants & Whiskey weave together unexplored soundscapes, captivating audiences with their enthralling blend of drama, humour, and vulnerability.Featuring the world premiere of a major new work by Kym Dillon, SPIRITS is a playful, irreverent work about these entities, inviting listeners into a sequence of games about how we relate to our past and the spirits bequeathed to us.
Alongside SPIRITS are a selection of new tunes by Croissants & Whiskey themselves.
