World Down Syndrome Day, observed annually on March 21st, is a worldwide initiative dedicated to increasing awareness about Down syndrome and recognizing the valuable contributions made by individuals with Down syndrome to society. This day serves as a platform to promote inclusivity, acceptance, and understanding while advocating for the rights, education, and opportunities for people with Down syndrome.This year, Down Syndrome WA is hosting a special World Down Syndrome morning tea to End the Stereotypes specifically in the Arts ,by showcasing and celebrating the artistic pursuits of our members. It promises to be a heartwarming occasion filled with joy and appreciation for the talents and creativity of individuals with Down syndrome.
