Habitat Gardening with AB Bishop (SOLD OUT)
About
Horticulturalist, writer and conservationist, AB Bishop, will give hints, tips and tricks on how to create the ideal environment to attract local wildlife, even in small spaces. During this presentation participants will learn about local plants and how they can be incorporated into the garden, and what local wildlife they will potentially encourage. A selection of plants as well as other garden habitat elements (rocks, logs, hydration stations) will be used to demonstrate how simple habitat gardening can be.This event is part of Bayside’s Gardens for Wildlife program. The G4W program is designed to encourage residents to make enhancements to their gardens and nature strips to build habitat and attract native wildlife. Gardens for Wildlife is a joint initiative between community, Council and Bayside Community Nursery.
