The 1960's is a much celebrated era of music. It featured the career heights of some of the most famous popular music artists of all time. Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and The Beatles to name a few. It was a time where the power of song and the cultural significance of music was fully realised. Amidst the hippy / party culture, protests and anti-war movement was always a message of peace and love. Flower Power Camp celebrates the wonderful music that went along with this time in history.

NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR INSTRUMENT?
As well as lots of psychedelic sounding guitars and organs, the 1960's were filled with obscure instruments that previously had not featured in pop / rock music. Flutes, clarinets, euphoniums, french horns, tin whistles and sitars all very welcome! Our expert teaching team will make sure you and your instrument are making lots of flower power music!
FOOD?
Morning tea and lunch are provided by Evergreen, but be sure to fill in the ‘Dietary Requirements’ on the booking form. (If you’re a fussy eater it might be best to bring some of your own food)
