100 STORY HOLIDAYS - IMAGINE, ILLUSTRATE, INVENT!

Dive into the world of stories like never before with our 2024 Autumn School Holiday Program at 100 Story Building! This year, we’re offering two immersive days filled with creativity, imagination, and hands-on activities designed to spark the inner storyteller in everyone.

Day 1 - Tuesday, 9 April 2024: Panel to Page

Unlock the secrets of graphic storytelling in this engaging workshop focused on comic creation. From character design to the final layout, participants will be guided through a series of imaginative prompts and drawing challenges. Explore a variety of drawing techniques, embrace a dash of creative chaos, and bring your unique stories to life—one panel at a time. Each participant will leave with a printed zine featuring their illustrated stories, along with a copy of the day's activities to continue the creativity at home.

Day 2 - Wednesday, 10 April 2024: Living Stories

Step into the shoes of your characters and bring stories to life in this dynamic workshop. Through a combination of writing, drama, drawing, and creative games, participants will learn how to create vibrant characters and worlds that leap off the page. This multi-sensory approach to storytelling will not only enhance your narrative skills but also offer a fun and engaging way to express your creativity. Prepare to be amazed as your stories transform from written words and sketches into living, breathing adventures.

For ages 8-12.

🌟 Cost: $95 per day or $180 for both days
🥪 Bring: Your own lunch and drink bottle. Everything else, from materials to magic, will be provided!
