SELF GUIDED TOUR OF ELIZABETH BAY HOUSE AND LUNCH AT LOCAL CAFE MONDAY 3RD JUNEWith harbour views, sweeping staircases and spectacular landscaped gardens, Elizabeth Bay House was Sydney’s ultimate trophy home. Designed by the architect, John Verge, it was built in 1839 for the colonial secretary Alexander Macleay.
Meet at Kogarah Station at 10am
Train from Kogarah departs at 10:21am (last carriage upstairs) for Kings Cross and arrives at 10:45am.
We can catch the 311 bus to Elizabeth Bay House or walk there (15 minutes).
Lunch at the Greenknowe Café or the Marina at own expense.
Cost Opal and free admission to Elizabeth Bay House (7 Onslow Avenue, Elizabeth Bay).
