Child Abuse and Neglect Training Program “Through their Eyes”

This training has been developed by the Department for Human Services to assist organisations providing services to children and young people to support their staff and volunteers to recognise, report and respond to children or young people who may be at risk of harm and build their capacity to provide safe environments within the organisation. Organisations should consider requiring their staff and volunteers that work with children and young people attend a Safe environments training course.
Child Safe Environments Training – through their eyes is a full day course which enables managers and staff to understand their obligations under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 to provide child safe environments within their role or organisation.
