This training supported by LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA) will give you the opportunity to build on the learning that you did when attending the workshop Understanding inclusivity for LGBTIQA+ people and it will help you:Connect with narratives of LGBTIQA+SB people who have experiences of suicidal distress.
Increase your confidence to talk about LGBTIQA+SB people and communities using an intersectional lens
Learn about factors that protect LGBTIQA+SB from experiencing distress and how these factors vary in strength and availability
Improve your ability to hear LGBTIQA+SB people’s stories about suicide.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please specify any dietary requirements when you RSVP.
This training is based on research completed by RMIT, Switchboard Vic, Roses in the Ocean and Suicide Prevention Australia
