Featuring the combined voices of two of Melbourne's finest community choirs, Box Hill Chorale and Star Chorale, and outstanding soloists, this concert features a beautiful program of music by great Austrian composer Franz Schubert and the contemporary Norwegian composer Kristian Hernes, as well as miniature masterpieces by Franz Liszt, Anton Bruckner and Wolfgang Mozart. Under the direction of conductor Andrew Wailes, the concert will also feature members of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, and brilliant pianist William Schmidt, as well as three outstanding soloists: Jesse Linke (soprano), Jack Jordan (tenor) and Alexander Owens (baritone). Performed in the magnificent setting and superb acoustics of historic All Saints Anglican Church, East St Kilda, this concert promises to be joyous musical celebration for all lovers of fine music.
