Introduction to Fluid Art with Karen Manley

Location
The G.R.A.I.N. Store 24-26 Blake Street, Nathalia, VIC, 3638
About
An introductory workshop on the unique method of abstract painting, ‘Fluid Art’. Karen Manley will guide you through two different ways of applying fluid art; open pour and cell activation swipe. The technique involves mixing acrylic paint with a thinning medium and then pouring that onto a canvas. Flowing paint and colours are then manipulated into designs. Brushes are rarely used; the paint is instead manipulated with a variety of tools.
