This is a celebration marking the end of Winter and the completion of pruning.It also welcomes bud burst in the vineyard in Spring.
This ancient French tradition returns for 2024.
Lets welcome the new season and raise a glass to celebrate the :Burning of the Canes".
This event is not suitable for children.
As an outdoor event please dress appropriately.
Our venue has an indoor area in case of wet weather.
The event commences at 6 pm and concludes at 9.30 pm.
Live music from 6.30 pm.
Cane fire lit from 7.30 pm.
Food as pre purchased or paid for on the night is available from 6.30 pm (No BYO).
Food options are grazing platter for one (vegetarian option available).
Pulled pork, pulled chicken burgers with a vegetarian option.
Some dietary requirements can be catered for as long as 48 hours notice is given.
Drinks at bar prices. (We are strictly no BYO venue).
Drinkd available include red, white and rose wines including a sweet option and sparkling. Also beer, cider and soft drink.
