The Rotary Club of Blacktown City and the Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod are holding a fundraising event to raise funds for the medical and dental mission 2025 in the island of Negros Philippines.Why our mission is in the Philippines not somewhere else?
Philippines has a population of over 110millions and 95% live in vulnerable conditions, lacking access to basic services, sanitation and health care. Marginalised groups such as indigenous peoples, women, children and people with disabilities face specific challenges. Where humanitarian support is needed
The country is prone to frequent natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes and volcanic eruption. This cause widespread damage, displacement thus requiring humanitarian aid.
For years we have worked in close partnership with local partners, community organisations and government agencies to ensure that the assistance is tailored to the local needs and has a lasting impact thus promoting lasting relationship.
Come along for a fun evening of festive cheer, and includes dancing, light refreshments and the opportunity to win amazing prizes in the $2 per ticket raffle.
