Each property in Hornsby Shire is entitled to receive four free native plants per year.
This late Winter Native Plant Giveaway dates are;
Friday 16 August and Saturday 17 August.

On Saturday only, come and chat to our friendly Council staff about:

Native gardens and providing habitat for local animals

Preparing your home for the upcoming bushfire season

Bushcare and volunteering

Your waste and recycling and the CRC (Community Recycling Centre)

Composting and worm farms

Solar and saving energy at home
No vouchers will be honoured at the Native Plant Giveway
The nursery will close between 12pm and 1pm for volunteers to have lunch.
Terms and conditions
You must bring evidence you are a rate payer or live in Hornsby Shire.
Only one booking per household.
Please be respectful to the volunteers and follow their directions.
We reserve the right to cancel any ticket that does not comply with the above conditions.
