About
The Austral Salon is delighted to present emerging musicians Lily Begg and Alex Owens.Both musicians are Honours graduates of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. With a shared passion for art song, Alex and Lily have curated and performed recitals across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Alex is an Emerging Artist with The Song Company in 2024; featured as a Young Songmaker with Songmakers Australia; and was Elyane Laussade’s Rising Star in her 2022 concert series.
In 2023 Lily appeared as a concerto soloist with the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra.
After completing a répétiteur apprenticeship with the Berlin Opera Academy, Lily currently plays for Opera Scholars Australia and the Melbourne Chamber Choir.
Doors open for refreshments 11.45 am. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided - BYO sandwiches
