Runt is an adaptation of Craig Silvey's gorgeous book by the same name and follows ten-year-old Annie and Runt, her stray dog, as they attempt to win the Agility Course Championship at the Krumpets Dog Show in London in order to save their family's farm from drought and misery.Every underdog has its day!
Craig Silvey is an author and screenwriter from Fremantle, Western Australia. His critically acclaimed debut novel, Rhubarb, was published in 2004. His bestselling novel, Jasper Jones, was released in 2009 and is considered a modern Australian classic.
This feel good family movie stars many Australian actors including Alex Jones (daughter of former Principal June Jones), and was filmed in WA. It is an ideal film for the whole family and grand children. We hope to see you there.
Doors open at 9.30am. Ticket prices include morning tea. Movie starts at 10.30am. All profits raised from this showing of 'Runt' will go towards OSA Scholarships.
