The GRDC Southern Farming Systems Project is now in it's 7th year of research, exploring improvements to farming systems efficiency across 4 replicated trial sites at Condobolin, Greenethorpe, Wagga Wagga and Urana.
Diverse Farms is an exciting new component of the project, based around paddock demonstrations to upscale the outcomes from the Farming Systems experimental trials. There are 6 sites across southern and central NSW which will run for 4 years, comparing a 'district practice' rotation with a more diverse rotation involving pulses, as determined by the host grower and their adviser.
