Join filmmaker Michael Dillon in a cinematic odyssey about a daring expedition to Heard Island, home to Australia's tallest and loneliest mountain Big Ben. The Great White Whale isn’t a whale. It’s a mountain. A mountain few have heard of on an island few have heard of. Ironically, the name of the island is Heard Island which is a snowy volcanic island that rears up from the wild Southern Ocean like a Great White Whale.
Michael will be travelling to Maleny to show and introduce the film and offer a Q&A.
The event is a fund raiser for the Maleny Community Centre, so come along, enjoy the movie and support this vibrant entertainment complex.
