‘Ignorance was Bliss’ is a vibrant contemporary dance-theatre work presented by Boorloo-based collective Enneagon Movement, that fuses dance, theatre, film, lighting and music. It is inspired by a certain euphoria that existed back in the day, stemming from the absence of globalism, taking you on a whimsical journey through a bygone era. Join us as we step into the past to uncover what valuable lessons it can teach us about ourselves today.
Ps. If you look carefully, you might notice some archival footage of Manjimup in the 60s!
The show will open with a short performance by some young, local, talented dancers; which has been devised over 2 days with the Enneagon Movement team!
