Create your own unique wire portrait inspired by First Nations artist, Tiger Yaltangki with First Nations Learning Officer, Annie Brigdale.
In this workshop we will explore the work of Tiger Yaltangki, a Yankunytjatjara artist who creates colourful and imaginative works. His art features a variety of characters and creatures, blending elements from his life, imagination, and culture. His Influences range from television shows, rock bands to Pitjantjatjara spirit beings, with self-portraits appearing frequently in his pieces.
We will look at three of his works and make our own interesting self-portrait.
There are two sessions for this event. Please select the appropriate session based of the age of the child.
Session 1 - 10:00am - 11:00am - Ages 7 to 12
Session 2 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm - Ages 13 to 18
