Create your own wrapped raffia sculpture inspired by the Tjanpi Desert Weavers with First Nations Learning Officer, Annie Brigdale.
The Tjanpi Desert Weavers skilfully use native grasses and raffia to create stunning contemporary fibre art, weaving beautiful baskets and sculptures with creativity and character. In this workshop, we will observe a creature from Tjanpi Desert Weavers then craft our own sculpture.
There are two sessions for this event. Please select the appropriate session based of the age of the child.
Session 1 - 10:00am - 11:00am - Ages 6 to 12
Session 2 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm - Ages 13 to 18
