Smashing Barriers - An Inclusive Wheelchair Tennis Event
WA Top Spinners presents the 2nd edition of Smashing Barriers - an Inclusive Tennis event presented by Netspark.
Building on last year’s success, the event continues to focus on bringing people of all abilities together in an effort to make tennis even more inclusive.
The event features the following event:
Organised Social Doubles: Players are rotated every 15 minutes and might play doubles, wheelchair doubles or adaptive doubles (one wheelchair player and one able-bodied player).
3-Point Singles Knockout: Open to all in a unique 3 point wins the match
Hit The Target Challenge: Players get to aim for target while playing in a wheelchair and exchange points they earned from hitting targets for prizes.
Having a sports wheelchair and a racquet is a bonus but if you don't have one, let us know early so we can try and sort it out.
