Students, families, and friends of Mac.Rob are warmly invited to support students of the VCE music, media, and visual arts programs at Mac.Rob. The exhibition is open to students and staff during school hours, and to the general public at the opening night gala on Tuesday, October 15th.
Join us for an inspiring journey of creativity at “WANDERLUST” - Mac.Rob’s annual VCE Art & Design Exhibition. Indulge your wanderlust as you explore a world of visual and auditory wonders devoted to the imagination.

'WANDERLUST' - VCE Art & Design Exhibition | Opening Night Gala

This is a free event, but guests are asked to RSVP to assist us with catering.
The Opening Night Gala will include speeches by school leaders, complimentary canapes, and the presentation of artwork prizes by special guest artist, Kay Abude.
Kay Abude is an artist based in Melbourne, Australia. She has an expanded sculptural practice working in large-scale installation, photography, performance, video and silk screen printing. Abude’s work is about work itself: the value of it, the effort, the inequality and insecurity of it, especially for artists. To learn more about Kay's work, click here.

The exhibition will be held in the Mac.Rob Hall, Level 2, Kingsway Building.
Please enter via Entry 4, the main school entrance (Reception doors) facing Albert Road.
Note: There is no parking available on site. Limited off-street parking is available in the surrounding area. The closest public transport stop is Tram Stop 22 (St. Kilda Road and Toorak Road).

- This is an indoor event. Capacity for this event is limited; bookings are essential, and entry will not be granted without a booking.
- HEPA air purifiers will be in operation during this event, and where possible, windows will be open.
- We recommend attendees wear a well-fitted face mask (i.e. an N95 mask) while indoors.
- Stay home if you are unwell, have been in contact with a COVID-positive person, or have a sick or COVID-positive family member isolating in your home.
