HYENA
Devised by: Lisa McDonell and Cast
Are you a woman? Do you feel nurtured by your community? Do you desire a safe space? Do you long to be a part of something greater than yourself? Welcome to the community, a nurturing and loving space designed by women, for women. Revel in the joys of caring for others, living your best life and experiencing peace. Leave the stresses of the outside world and settle into our warm and soft embrace. You'll never want to leave!
In the world of hyenas, it's the females who lead with confidence and grace. These queens of the savannah guide their communities with wisdom and strength, ensuring harmony and order. The matriarchs of these communities nurture and protect their families, forging a tight-knit community where the bonds of sisterhood thrive, and every member plays a role in their shared success.
Hyena is a devised theatrical experience created by Lisa McDonell and the 2nd Year Performance and Theatre students.
Please be aware this production will include the use of bright, occasionally flashing lights as well as theatrical haze and may be distressing to some viewers. There is the use of scents and essential oils within the show including apple, cinnamon and gingerbread which could present a potential allergen.
