2024 Norwood Football Club Test Match Lunch

2024 Norwood Football Club Test Match Lunch

hero

Hosted by Fox Cricket Analyst Lawrie Colliver

Special Guests - Ravi Shastri - He was a Champion of Champions and now one of the world's top cricket commentators - plus we also welcome former Australian Test Cricketer and former CEO of the Australian Cricketers' Association Tim May.

Ravi played 80 Tests and 150 One Day Internationals for India starting as a left arm spinner but over time becoming one of the best all-rounders world cricket has ever seen.

Known for his wit and hilarious sense of humour the 4th Norwood Football Club Test Match lunch is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.

Ravi’s wisdom, penchant for sport, has seen the former Test cricketer enjoy a successful coaching and media career.

His jokes, quick humour and knowledge in all things sport has become legendary.

Tim May played 24 Tests and 47 One Day internationals for Australia bowling marathon accurate offspin spells as well as being a tenacious tail-end batsmen.

He was a member of Australia's 1987 World Cup side and who would forget his 1992/93 Fourth Test Adelaide Oval heroics when he took 5/9 against the almighty West Indies.

Tim retained an active role after retiring by becoming the inaugural CEO of the Australian Cricketers' Association in 1997, and latterly the chief executive of the Federation of International Players' Associations.

We would love you to come along, enjoy the picturesque view of the magnificent Norwood Oval and enjoy an afternoon that is sure to be full of laughs, stories and cricket chat.

Ravi and Tim are the special guest speakers for Norwood FC’s 4th Test Match Lunch on December 5th 2024.

Previous guest speakers include Michael Hussey, Nathan Lyon and the incredible Kerry O’Keeffe.

The Adelaide Test Match begins the next morning (Friday December 6th) so there is no better way to kick off the Test Match week than an afternoon at the Norwood Function Room, hearing from two greats of the game Ravi Shastri and Tim May.

Tickets include a two-course meal and a four-hour drinks package.

For enquiries, please contact Brenton Klaebe at Norwood Football Club on 0418 800 168 or bklaebe@norwoodfc.com.au
