Join us in the Gardens for an Artist Clay Demonstration

Each year, we welcome art enthusiasts who arrive on the grounds of The Sound Temple, this year we are pleased that our artists are showcasing their techniques with demonstrations.

Art for Dee is all about having fun and learning new ways to be creative.  Home amongst the gum trees on the grounds of The Sound Temple Dee will share some fun ways that she uses mark making techniques when creating clay pieces. 

Setting up in the gardens at The Sound Temple our artists would love to spend a little time greeting visitors and to show how techniques are applied to their works.  In Dee’s case one of her loves is to use stained slips and mono-printing on clay and she will spend some time creating some pieces and showing guests how to have fun with these methods – all whilst spending time together in nature.

This Artist Demonstration follows on directly after the Meet the Artist ‘Demonstration on Painting’ at 10.30am.

Bring up a picnic with you, connect with fellow art lovers, and immerse yourself in the peaceful ambient Grounds of The Sound Temple.  We would love to see you here!

Visiting the open studios and participating in the Mundaring Hills event is a unique experience and an opportunity to sample the lives of our local and invited artists.

In total 75 artists at 37 gallery and studio locations will be showcasing their art between Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 27 (including the two consecutive weekends).

This event gives you a chance to talk to artists who are hosting, explore their techniques, share ideas, admire their creativity and acquire a unique piece of local artwork that will be displayed in the Gallery, Stone Lodge and around the magnificent grounds of The Sound Temple.
