Once Upon a Trio... ellipsis brings stories from the realms of reality and fantasy to Tempo Rubato. Beginning with stories from home, composers detail experiences of childhood, connection to country and culture through their works. Moving into the realm of fantasy, a soldier, his violin and the pursuit of riches and a princess feature in the final work of the concert, Stravinsky's 'A Soldier's Tale'.
