DO I NEED TO HAVE SUNG BEFORE? 
This choral workshop is not catering for absolute beginners, though you do not need to have sung in a choir to join us. Some singing experience and an ear for picking up a tune will be helpful. You do not need to read music, though music scores are available for those that like to read.  An open heart is the main ingredient! 

ABOUT RACHEL HORE 
A much sought after teacher of choral singing, Rachel Hore OAM has been performing and teaching throughout Australia and internationally for over 30 years. Rachel composes, arranges and sources new repertoire for community choirs and her arrangements are sung by choirs all over Australia.

Rachel is passionate about building connection and community through song. She leads cultural singing tours in the Pacific and Europe, has conducted massed choir events and taught countless singing workshops at Festivals, in schools, conferences, and at community events.

Rachel coordinates and teaches at the annual Wintersong choral retreat in the Blue Mountains, NSW, which has sold out 25 years in a row.

In 2014, Rachel received a Medal of the Order of Australia for her services to the Australian choral community. She lives in Canberra, ACT, where she runs the Pop Up Choir, a choir community of 150 plus singers.  More info: www.rachelhore.com
