息影多年的動作指導李森，因昔日導演拍檔的邀請重出江湖，拍攝其最後一部作品。動作演員李世龍長期徘徊於理想與現實間，兩人因對港產動作片的熱愛相遇，一拍即合，決心讓這部「最後之作」重振香港動作片輝煌。森也希望藉此修補與女兒的關係。然而，動作片時代已變，加上森和動作巨星梁志威的師徒恩怨，將情況推向失控邊緣！
