WADSA are excited to be hosting another Act Belong Commit Come and Try Day, Fishing in the Canning River!Wet a line and have a good time meeting new people and improving your mental health through physical activity and social connection. Being a part of WADSA network can foster a sense of belonging. It’s all about joining in and connecting with others.
This activity is open to adults with a disability, aged 18+. A support person will be required to stay for the duration of the activity for behavioral and personal care support.
Please note, this is activity will be taking place at the river, which has varying water depths. While we will not be entering the water, Participants should be comfortable around water and have a basic understanding of water safety.
Support Staff/Family are not required to purchase a ticket to attend to support a participant. please only book for the person participating as tickets are limited.
