WSI Holiday Program - Plant your own Bush Tucker Buddy (SOLD OUT)

These school holidays join us for a hands-on workshop at Western Sydney International Airport Experience Centre. Our Bush Tucker Workshop invites participants to decorate their very own plant pot before planting a bush tucker plant to take home!
This workshop is not just about getting your hands dirty - this workshop is also a journey into the fascinating world of native Australian plants. Participants will learn about the rich cultural heritage of bush tucker plants and their traditional uses by Indgenous Australians. Discover how these unique plants have provided food, medicine, and tools for thousands of years, connecting people to the land in meaningful and sustainable ways. The workshop begins with a creative session where participants can express themselves by decorating their pots with POSCA pens. Once their masterpiece is ready, they'll get the chance to pot a native bush tucker plant!
This engaging, educational activity is perfect for all ages, providing an opportunity to explore culture, creativity, and the environment in one exciting session. Plus, they'll leave with a beautiful pot and plant to cherish - a lasting reminder of the skills and knowledge gained during the day.
