You may have heard of haiku, but have you ever created a Haiga? Join Julia Wakefield to explore thesubtle interchange between text and pictures that a Haiga can evoke. You don’t need to be an artist or
a poet to create a Haiga. Bring some of your favourite haiku and/or some of your own haiku or choose
from some that will be supplied. Paper, drawing media, glue and collage materials will be provided,
but bring your own art materials and photos if preferred. These Haiga will be made entirely by hand.
