WAAPA Saxophone Academy (CANCELLED)
Come and join us at WAAPA to extend your performance and ensemble skills by being a part of a saxophone ensemble. This course is designed to prepare secondary school aged saxophonists with ensemble and performance opportunities, to enhance their rehearsal skills and saxophone technique within an ensemble context.
Students will develop core skills needed to be a confident and effective ensemble player both in the rehearsal room and on stage! Booking is done on a term-by-term basis. This ensemble course will include:
• Weekly two-hour rehearsals on Saturday afternoons (2-4pm) during school term on a diverse range of repertoire
• Performance opportunities (including our very own feature at the Massed Sax Festival in May!)
• Guest lecturers
• A fun, interactive environment where you can meet like-minded saxophonists and learn new skills
