For those planning to begin working therapeutically with clients experiencing PTSD, C-PTSD, and associated trauma presentations. This workshop will provide knowledge and skills which will help participants navigate initial forays into this complex area of treatment.

Participants will explore diagnostic and theoretical models of trauma and understand how this can guide case formulation and treatment options. We will encourage participants to consider their personal insights and potential reactions to working in this space, and the group will workshop strategies for enhancing assessment of clients with trauma, being goal focused, and understanding common barriers to progress.

Participants will conclude the workshop with an increased preparedness to begin working with trauma, and guidance on how to continue their professional development in this area.
