Paddle for Pedder: January Edition
About
Join us for an early Paddle for Pedder as part of this year’s Week of Action for Pedder.We will paddle under the banner of Restore Nature, Not Concrete, in protest of the destructive dam works scheduled for this week.
Join us in nipaluna/Hobart, or send us a photos of you doing your own paddle out, wherever you are.
You do not need a kayak to participate- but booking is essential! Sign up and we can ensure one is put aside for you!
Rough schedule below, to be emailed in more detail to attendees:
1:30: Meet at Marieville Esplanade
1:45: Launch Kayaks, paddle towards city
2:00: Team in the city gathers at Constitution Dock, next to the Steam Crane.
2:00: Paddlers meet up with Pedder team in the city for photos and collective protest
2:20: Paddle back
2:30: Disembarking
