In the lead-up to International Women's Day 2025, join the community for a celebration of the contribution of women in Hepburn Shire on 5 March from 6pm at The Mechanics Trentham. Australian Paralympian Shae Graham will deliver the keynote address.Now in its 20th year, Hepburn Shire Council has held this annual event to induct new members onto the Heather Mutimer Honour Roll. The honour roll was established to pay tribute to local women whose courage and contributions have led to significant social change for other women.
"For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” This year’s IWD theme calls for action that can unlock equal rights, power and opportunities for all and a feminist future where no one is left behind.
Entry to this event is free, but please book to assist us with catering. Supper will be served and limited return coach transport will be provided on a needs basis. Follow the prompts to book your seat.
