2025 South Australian Championship
About
The SA State Championship is a 10 player Round Robin that attracts many of SA's top players for 9 weeks of gruelling chess. It also is part of the Sulik Challenge.Qualification limits apply. Free entry to W/GM and W/IMs with 50% discount for W/FM applicants
It is FIDE and ACF rated and players are expected to play all 9 rounds.
The time limit is 90 minutes + 30 sec increment from move 1. The default time is 30 minutes from the start of play.
The prizes are: 1st $700, 2nd $400 and 3rd:$300
International Players must have a FIDE ID from their home federation before the start of the tournament. International players who do not have a FIDE ID before the start will not be allowed to play.
