If you support individuals who use AAC, then this hands-on workshop with the DAGG-3 (Dynamic AAC Goals Grid) is for you!The DAGG-3 is a free assessment tool by Tobii Dynavox that can help you assess and plan.
Originally published in 2008, the DAGG has been updated and developed to now the 3rd version. The purpose of the assessment is to provide therapists with:
- A systematic way to assess (and reassess) an individual’s communication skills
- Provide the tools to develop a long-reaching plan for communicative independence
- Encourage successful AAC use across all communication competency areas (linguistic, social, operational, strategic)
- Support goal writing
During the session participants will work through case study based examples to complete the DAGG-3 assessment and identify intervention goals. Participants are asked to bring a client case study with them and they will be supported to complete an assessment of them during the workshop.
