An invitation is extended to all parents and caregivers to attend the AGM for Roma Mitchell Secondary College (RMSC). During the AGM we will elect our parent representatives for the Governing Council for 2025.This is an excellent opportunity for parents to meet with the Chairperson, Principal and Executive Leadership Team to gain further insight into the school.
Roma Mitchell Secondary College Governing Council comprises 19 councilors including:
• 1 Principal of the school (ex officio)
• 12 elected parents
• 3 staff of the school (nominated by the staff to represent the four campuses – Girls Campus, Middle and Senior Campus and Special Campus
• 3 community members appointed by the Governing Council
We are seeking nominations for Governing Council Members; the term of office is up to a two-year period. There will be a number of vacancies for parent members. Meetings are held at RMSC on a Wednesday twice a term for approximately 2 hours.
