A cyanotype is effectively a blueprint. In addition to using film negatives and positives, plant material and a host of other three dimensional flat objects can be used to create interesting and artistic images and marks on paper, fabric and a range of porous surfaces. During this workshop participants will learn how to print botanical silhouettes onto surfaces pre-prepared with Cyanotype solution. In the session, attendees will develop an assortment of Cyanotype prints on photo paper, fabric, watercolour paper, and Stonehenge paper. Learn how to extend your Cyanotype prints by drawing into them with pen, ink and watercolour pencils. This process is a wonderful tool in any artist's toolkit of mediums to & fuse with their art practice. Cyanotype prints can be achieved without purchasing a whole new range of art products! All materials, notes & instructions are included in the cost. Afternoon tea, Tea & coffee are provided.Location
