This month for Wednesdays @ 1, we'll be joined by Steve Larkins OAM, the Community & Commemoration Ambassador for Virtual War Memorial Australia (VWMA).
Online via Zoom and in the library on Unley Road. FREE for Genealogy SA members, $20 for non-members.
An outstanding digital commemorative collection, VWMA is purpose built to honour the personal experiences of all those who have served the nation in times of conflict, from the Boer War through to Afghanistan. It pays special honour to those who lost their lives as a result of their service and equally honours those who returned, forever changed.
In this hybrid webinar, Steve Larkins will explain how the VWMA works, how to research using their collections, and how you can contribute to this digital commemorative platform.
