Connecting With Your Teen

About
For Parents of adolescents/teens.This period of adolescence through to adulthood can be difficult to navigate for many teens. The emotional rollercoaster of raging hormones is tricky in itself. Add to that the rapidly changing expectations around behaviour, social connections, making decisions for the future, and mounting responsibilities, all happening during a time when most teens are still trying to figure out who they are. It's little wonder that many teens become overwhelmed and anxious. Now more than ever, we want our kids to know that they can come to us whenever needed.
This introductory workshop focuses on strengthening your connection with your teen utilising strategies from the Circle of Security and Parenting by Connection Programs for effectively listening and responding, and supporting them through difficult times and mental health concerns.
