For choral conductors of all levels. Explore vocal pedagogy to deepen understanding of the vocal mechanism and learn to identify and address common vocal issues. Discover how physical movement can enhance engagement and produce expressive, unified singing.
2–4pm: Festival Choir
Join Dr Kiver in rehearsal and performance of two choral works.
Dr Kiver is a Grammy-winning conductor and expert in vocal pedagogy, changing voices, music ministry, programming, recruitment, score study, and rehearsal technique. Currently Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Pennsylvania State University, he is a past recipient of the World Choral Symposium Foundation Scholarship and PSU President’s Award.
