Crop Research Updates & WMG AGM
The WMG Crop Research Updates will kick off at 2:00pm at the DCRC and will include multiple presentations covering some of the latest research and innovation, including:
- Gaus Azam (DPIRD) presenting the incredible results from DPIRD’s soil re-engineering work across the state, including a new site established at the Kenny’s in 2025
- Mike Ashworth (UWA/AHRI) talking on early podding radish and the evolution of ryegrass
- Corrigin farmers and CFIG members Ash Jacobs & Connor Baker covering their multi year learnings on stubble management strategies such as stubble height, strip and disc systems and practical considerations
- Alana Alexander with an update from Summit Fertilizers
- Updates from the WMG Team & more!
The day will conclude with the WMG AGM (5:00pm), Sundowner BBQ & refreshments (bar open).
